About the piece

The Cojín Huichol Serpiente is a 100% cotton piece hand-embroidered with ancestral Mexican symbolism. Serpents and peyote move through the composition, turning the entire face of the cushion into a narrative surface where image, color and handwork are read together.

The embroidery covers the full front and is built with saturated thread. Each contour rises above the textile base, so the motif is not only visible: it creates a tactile topography that can be felt by passing a hand over the surface.

The density of the embroidery concentrates attention and allows the cushion to work as a focal point on a quieter armchair or sofa. It can also be grouped with other pieces from the Huichol series to build a richer composition of color, symbolism and texture.

It is available in 40 × 40 and 50 × 50 cm sizes. The current catalog includes Ivory, Negro, Verde, Mostaza and Cemento, maintaining the same embroidered language across different chromatic bases.

Made in Mexico by Mayan communities. Each piece is worked individually, so small differences in stitch, line or color form part of its handcrafted character.
