About the piece

The Hoody Red algodón is a La Troupe unisex basic made in cotton mesh. The open textile creates a light, fresh surface with transparency, designed to work as a layer without adding excessive visual weight.

The hood is built in the same cotton mesh, maintaining continuous texture between body and head. The relaxed silhouette keeps the textile away from the body and makes the structure of the mesh easy to perceive.

The material experience is defined by air and texture: the mesh lets light through and reveals what is worn beneath, while cotton keeps the piece casual and easy to combine. Pair it with the Tao or Hermès trousers or other La Troupe basics.

The current catalog includes UT, S and M sizes, with Cemento, Ivory and Black depending on size. Made in Mexico.

Fit & Sizing

A relaxed fit, intended to fall effortlessly over the body.
If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a closer fit, or the larger size for a more relaxed drape.

Care

Every La Troupe piece deserves special care to preserve the beauty of its fabrics, embroidery, and finishes. We recommend following these guidelines according to the material of your garment.

Linen

Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water (max. 30 °C / 86 °F).
Use mild soap; avoid bleach and strong fabric softeners.
Do not wring. Remove excess water by pressing gently.
Dry in the shade, flat or hanging.
Iron inside out at medium-high temperature with steam.

Cotton

Machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water.
Use mild detergent; avoid chlorine and harsh bleach.
Dry in the shade; if using a tumble dryer, use a low-heat cycle.
Iron at medium temperature; iron inside out if the garment has embroidery or prints.

Silk / Silk Rayon

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent for delicate garments.
Do not scrub or wring; move the garment gently in the water.
Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
Dry flat or hang in the shade; never tumble dry.
Iron inside out at low temperature, ideally with a cloth between the iron and the garment.

Tulle / Mesh / Sheer

Hand wash in cold water with a very mild soap.
Do not rub or wring; press gently to remove excess water.
Lay flat on a towel to dry, always in the shade.
Do not tumble dry.
If necessary, iron inside out at very low temperature or apply steam only from a distance.

Rayon / Viscose

Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold water.
Use mild detergent; avoid chlorine.
Do not wring; the fiber is delicate when wet.
Hang or lay flat to dry in the shade.
Iron inside out at low-medium temperature with gentle steam.

Polyester Blends

Machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water.
Use mild detergent without chlorine.
Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat.
Iron at low temperature, inside out.

Artisanal Embroidery

Always wash inside out, ideally by hand in cold water.
Do not rub directly on the embroidery.
Avoid prolonged soaking.
Dry flat or hang in the shade; do not tumble dry.
Iron inside out with a cloth between the iron and the garment.

Artisanally Dyed or Intense Colors

Wash separately the first few times in cold water.
Use mild detergent without bleach.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Dry in the shade and avoid high-temperature tumble drying.

If in doubt, we recommend prioritizing hand washing, drying in the shade, and delicate care for each piece.
