About the piece
The Kimono Eter Escarabajo brings a La Troupe icon in 100% natural silk into the symbolic world of Crisol. Silk provides a light, fluid surface with a soft response to light, allowing the embroidery to concentrate attention.
A fleur-de-lis appears on the shoulders, presented in the collection as a symbol of the Templars who preserved the Grail and the message of Mary Magdalene. On the back, a golden scarab occupies the main plane. Both are linked to the idea of resurrection expressed in the phrase “and when I open my wings I will rise again.”
The placement of the embroidery creates different readings from front, profile and back while the silk moves continuously around the body.
It is one size (UT) and currently available in Black, Ivory and Rosa.
Made in Mexico by Mayan communities.

- If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a closer fit, or the larger size for a more relaxed drape.
Care
Every La Troupe piece deserves special care to preserve the beauty of its fabrics, embroidery, and finishes. We recommend following these guidelines according to the material of your garment.
Linen
- Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water (max. 30 °C / 86 °F).
- Use mild soap; avoid bleach and strong fabric softeners.
- Do not wring. Remove excess water by pressing gently.
- Dry in the shade, flat or hanging.
- Iron inside out at medium-high temperature with steam.
Cotton
- Machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water.
- Use mild detergent; avoid chlorine and harsh bleach.
- Dry in the shade; if using a tumble dryer, use a low-heat cycle.
- Iron at medium temperature; iron inside out if the garment has embroidery or prints.
Silk / Silk Rayon
- Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent for delicate garments.
- Do not scrub or wring; move the garment gently in the water.
- Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
- Dry flat or hang in the shade; never tumble dry.
- Iron inside out at low temperature, ideally with a cloth between the iron and the garment.
Tulle / Mesh / Sheer
- Hand wash in cold water with a very mild soap.
- Do not rub or wring; press gently to remove excess water.
- Lay flat on a towel to dry, always in the shade.
- Do not tumble dry.
- If necessary, iron inside out at very low temperature or apply steam only from a distance.
Rayon / Viscose
- Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold water.
- Use mild detergent; avoid chlorine.
- Do not wring; the fiber is delicate when wet.
- Hang or lay flat to dry in the shade.
- Iron inside out at low-medium temperature with gentle steam.
Polyester Blends
- Machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water.
- Use mild detergent without chlorine.
- Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron at low temperature, inside out.
Artisanal Embroidery
- Always wash inside out, ideally by hand in cold water.
- Do not rub directly on the embroidery.
- Avoid prolonged soaking.
- Dry flat or hang in the shade; do not tumble dry.
- Iron inside out with a cloth between the iron and the garment.
Artisanally Dyed or Intense Colors
- Wash separately the first few times in cold water.
- Use mild detergent without bleach.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
- Dry in the shade and avoid high-temperature tumble drying.
If in doubt, we recommend prioritizing hand washing, drying in the shade, and delicate care for each piece.

Exchanges & Returns
After receiving your order, you have 15 days to request an exchange or online store credit. To begin the process, contact web@latroupe.mx and wait for authorization from La Troupe.
- In the case of an exchange, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.
- Only items from the current collection can be exchanged; sale items cannot be exchanged.
- If the requested size is unavailable, the amount will be issued as online store credit.
