The Ruana Palenque is a La Troupe classic made in woven cotton manta with a broad, unisex and enveloping silhouette. Its open construction lets the wearer change how it sits without closures or rigid structure.
Side embroidery in trama y cadena is made by communities in Chiapas. The work adds texture and drawing over the more continuous woven base, concentrating the artisanal detail along the sides.
The woven manta remains flexible and natural in character. It is one size (UT), currently available in Black, Ivory, Cemento, Verde, Mostaza and Salmon.
Made in Mexico, with embroidery by communities in Chiapas.
