The Ruana Cadena is a unisex one-size piece made in soft 100% cotton yarn using the ancestral backstrap-loom technique. Its open construction lets the textile fall in an enveloping way and adapt to the body without closures or rigid structure.
A delicate line of hand-made stitches runs around the entire edge. The stitching frames the silhouette and creates a second level of texture over the woven surface, making the time and manual work visible in the finish.
Woven cotton brings softness and flexible drape. Wear it over other garments or directly against the skin on a cool night.
It is one size (UT), currently available in Rosa, Guinda, Celeste, Cemento, Dorado and Ivory. Made in Mexico by Mayan communities.
