The Cojín Red is built around a fully embroidered surface over manta. A net motif covers the entire face of the cushion, transforming a flat base into a raised grid where texture carries as much visual weight as the drawing itself.
The embroidery works primarily in a tonal reading. From a distance the surface feels ordered; at closer range, the thread rises above the manta and reveals the pattern as a tactile structure. That difference in height lets the grid change subtly with the light and gives the cushion interest even within a restrained palette.
It is made in 100% cotton. The relationship between manta and embroidery keeps the material language continuous, while the manual execution introduces slight irregularities that distinguish one piece from another.
The current catalog includes sizes 40 × 40, 45 × 45, 50 × 50 and 60 × 60 cm, with variants in Ivory, gris oscuro, Crema/Aqua, Gris, Coral, Cemento, gris claro, Ladrillo/Salmon and Mostaza; not every size and color combination exists in each variant. It can be used alone to introduce texture or layered with more intensely embroidered cushions and plain textiles.
Made in Mexico by Mayan communities. Each piece may show small differences in embroidery or color as a natural result of artisanal work.
