The Kimono Palma is a midi-length kimono with wide sleeves, made in 100% linen. The piece works through an open, clean silhouette in which the material supports the volume without taking away its movement, leaving the back as the principal visual territory.
Handmade embroidery on the back is the axis of the design. The rest of the kimono remains deliberately restrained so the work of Mayan-area embroiderers can appear clearly without competing with other graphic elements.
The breadth of the sleeves and the midi length create a layer with presence, while the linen gives structure to the drape. It can be worn over simple garments and allow the embroidery to become the dominant detail of the look.
Available in sizes S and M, currently in Vainilla. Its proportion makes it useful as an intermediate layer: long enough to create movement, without reaching the scale of a maxi kimono.
Made in Mexico by Mayan communities in 100% linen. Every piece is unique, and slight differences in embroidery or color may appear as a natural result of handwork.
