The Bolsa Huichol Serpiente belongs to La Troupe’s family of pompom bags and is conceived as a textile-forward everyday accessory: spacious enough to accompany the day, yet defined by handcrafted details that give it the presence of a special piece.
Its body measures 45 × 40 cm and is made in cotton manta. Across the surface, embroidery with Huichol symbolism draws from Mexican Huichol art. The embroidery brings color, line and texture to the calmer cotton base, while the slight variations of handwork give each bag an individual character.
The handles are made in chocolate-brown cowhide, creating a material contrast with the cotton body. Inside, the bag is lined in a delicate cotton fabric, so both the front and lining remain 100% cotton textile constructions.
The 45 × 40 cm proportion gives the bag a generous silhouette without making it feel rigid. Its format works with fluid garments and kimonos as easily as with simpler looks, where the embroidery can become the main visual point.
Made in Mexico by Mayan communities. Because it is handcrafted, slight differences in embroidery or color may appear from one piece to another.
