The Kimono Trenza is a maxi kimono built in fine, delicate 100% cotton gauze. The fabric has subtle transparency and very little visual weight, so the silhouette feels light even at full length. When walking or caught by air, the gauze follows the movement rather than holding a rigid shape, making the volume of the piece visible.
Its most distinctive construction detail is a braid made from the same fabric that runs around the neck, shoulders and waist. It is not merely decorative: it is the system used to open, gather and adjust the kimono. Depending on how the braid is fastened, the volume can remain freer or move closer to the body, changing the relationship between transparency, layering and silhouette.
The sensory experience comes from the combination of cotton gauze, maxi volume and textile adjustment. The surface feels delicate and light, while the braid creates a slightly denser area around the neck, shoulders and waist. The result is a garment that moves continuously and changes shape with the way it is tied.
It can be worn over swimwear during the day or as a long layer for dinner by the sea. The current catalog includes sizes S, M and UT, with variants in Ivory, Black, Red, Gris Azulado and Green; available combinations depend on the size.
Made in Mexico by Mayan communities. Each piece may show slight differences in color or finish as a natural part of its making.
