The Cojín Serpiente is fully hand-embroidered tone on tone, with a 100% linen body and 100% cotton embroidery thread. With little color contrast, the motif is discovered first through texture and raised stitching.
The linen keeps its visible weave beneath the embroidery, while the cotton thread builds the serpent through small changes in height that respond to light and turn a monochrome surface into a tactile piece.
The current catalog includes 40 × 40 and 50 × 50 cm sizes, in Cemento, Ivory and gris oscuro. Both scales work on a sofa, armchair or bed while preserving the same minimal tonal language.
Made in Mexico by Mayan communities. Each embroidery is made individually and may show slight variations in stitch or tone.
