The Vestido Cayetana Red is a long dress that combines a romantic silhouette with precise construction around the torso. The body fabric is thin, and the design incorporates puff sleeves, a V neckline and a seam line below the bust that organizes the volume and defines the shape.
The under-bust cut extends into a tie that fastens at the back. This system allows the silhouette to be adjusted at its most structured point while the rest of the dress keeps a longer, freer fall. The neckline is framed by handmade cross-stitch embroidery that resembles a net, concentrating the artisanal detail close to the face.
The combination of materials creates a clear contrast within the same piece: the sleeves and flounce are made in 100% silk, while the body is 100% cotton. Silk brings lightness to the sleeve volume and final flounce; cotton gives structure to the central body of the dress.
The hem finishes in a flounce that falls softly to the feet, extending the movement of the silhouette. Available in sizes S, M and L and currently in Ivory and Red.
Made in Mexico by Mayan communities. The embroidery is worked by hand, so slight differences in stitch or color form part of the individuality of each dress.
