Iruya dress

About the piece

The Vestido Iruya is a long, loose dress made in fine 100% cotton gauze. The fabric is light and creates subtle transparency through the skirt, giving the garment an airy sense of movement while the silhouette keeps a long, continuous line.

A waist-level cut brings structure to the relaxed volume. From there, the skirt falls with fullness, while the deep V neckline opens the torso and is framed by vivid floral embroidery that concentrates attention on the upper part of the dress.

The fine gauze creates a visually weightless effect and allows the dress to respond easily to the movement of the body and the air. The contrast between the delicate cotton surface and the raised embroidery creates a clear tactile experience: a soft, light base with a more pronounced embroidered detail.

Available in sizes S and M and currently in Ivory, Black, Red, Green and Gris Azulado. Its combination of volume, subtle transparency and embroidery allows it to work as a complete daytime or evening piece with a relaxed but feminine character.

Made in Mexico by Mayan communities. Each piece may show small variations in embroidery, print or color as a natural result of the handcrafted process.
